The Church Rooms, Calf Lane, Chipping Campden, GL55 6JG.
The Church Rooms (the Hall) are on the road to the east behind the main high street and situated on the corner of Church Street and Calf Lane. The land on which the Hall is sited was acquired by the then Vicar and Churchwardens in 1837 and the Hall was built some years later and occupied until 1932 as a school for poor boys in Campden. The Hall has been used as a community facility since then.
In 2018 the Hall was registered as a charity ‘The St James’ Church Rooms Trust’ Registered Number 1180778.
The Hall provides a light environment for all kinds of activities, meetings and community events involving up to 60 people. The Hall is suitable for:
Parties (with or without outside caterers)
Committee and business meetings
Business and private functions
Lectures and audio-visual presentations
Small Receptions and Christenings
Exercise and educational classes
Exhibitions and demonstrations
Fundraising events (quizzes, dances, bingo, etc)
The Hall (8.2m x 5.5m) has a fully equipped kitchen (3.2m x 4.8m), there are tables and seating for 60 people, standing capacity is 80. There is a removable stage, and a projector available. The Hall is at street level with disabled access and toilet.

Hire Charges, subject to condition: the charges are based on the number of people using the rooms at any one time. There is a minimum hire of two hours which will be double the hourly rate.
1-20 people - £9 for each further hour or part of an hour
20-40 people - £10 for each further hour or part of an hour
40-80 people - £15 for each further hour or part of an hour
The charge for the use of the rooms for a whole day is £60 with an hourly charge of £9 if setting up time is required on the previous day.
Concessionary rates per hour are available at discretion to local voluntary and registered charitable organisations.
