We are an eco-church and have received a silver award from A Rocha in recognition of the journey we are taking to more fully understand what it is to be good stewards of God’s creation corporately and as individuals.
In practical ways, we seek to reduce the negative impact and enhance our positive impact on the environment.
In the churchyard, for example, the mowing regime has been adjusted to allow invertebrates to prosper. There are also bug hotels made by a member of the church and various animal houses and bird boxes that seek to increase the number and diversity of species that use the churchyard and surrounding areas.
As part of our eco-church we run a Repair Cafe where our volunteers will help you with fixing or talking about how to fix, or repurpose items that have need mending. For more information please click on the link https://campden-support.com/sustainability
