Clergy, Youth and Schools Leader and Administrator
Youth and Schools Leader and Administrator
Revd Canon Craig Bishop
Craig serves the central group of parishes as well as being Team Rector. He likes being out of doors and walking in particular.
Several times a year he makes time to walk up mountains or along long-distance paths.
He enjoys exploring with people how faith connects to and can be evident in, the normal everyday things of life.
Children and Youth Leader
Amy Joined the VaCE team in January 2018. Her role is vast, working alongside all 3 of the team’s vicars and 8 of the local schools.
Amy is married with two boys and has lived in various parts of the Globe and has spent time training at the NLTC studying Theology and leadership.
Her passion is for both children and young people to know above all things that they are loved by God and their identity is found in him.
Elizabeth Jones (Liz)
As the church administrator, Liz ensures the smooth and efficient operation of the church through overseeing the daily activities. She is the first point of call for everyone and really enjoys helping people with their enquiries and their special services.
In her free time, Liz enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Her favourite pastime is sitting in the sun reading a good book.
Elected as a warden in 2023, Michael with his wife Caroline moved to Campden in 2019, following his retirement as a Chartered Surveyor and Fine Arts valuer. They have three children, and four grandchildren.
Michael soon found himself on the PCC, and they both enjoy being members of the mid week fellowship and Bible study groups. Also he was instrumental in starting the now very popular St James’ Church Repair Cafe, and attends as a helper at ‘Men in Sheds’ weekly at Jecca’s House.
Other interests include walking, enjoying our lovely countryside, local history, and antique porcelain.
Naomi was raised in Chipping Campden but moved away to become a nurse
Naomi has been a member of the church community for over 20 years since returning home in 2002. In 2022 Naomi took part in the first course offered to Lay people for funeral ministry. Since been licenced by The Bishop, Naomi has been officiating funerals in our local churches and crematoriums.
Much of her time is taken up caring for her growing family with now four grandchildren. Any spare time is spent walking or curled up with a good book.
Church Choir Master/Organist
Richard Stephens is the church choir master and organist. He also helps organise the Music Festival and other events through the year.
Ros started the Happy Faces Toddler group in 2015 to provide a place for new parents to find mutual support, friendship, and community. Since starting the group, she has discovered a joy in caring for young families and getting to know them.
She runs informal parenting and faith courses for women. Ros also works for the charity, Homestart.
Ros is married to Craig and they have three daughters. They also have a dog and a collection of guinea pigs. Ros, a vicar's wife, is not good at flower arranging, but loves a good cup of tea.
